If you&#8217;re one of those people for whom the idea of Christmas shopping fills you with queue-battling, bag jostling and sock-giving dread, then welcome to the club. So this year, I&#8217;m taking a different tack &#8211; and no, it&#8217;s not Amazon&#8230; how about a day of shopping in the grounds of a stunning Oxfordshire country estate where there&#8217;s no end of free parking, and the gifts are truly unique? For those not already in the know, introducing, the <a href="http://www.thecraftshows.co.uk/henleyxmas/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Henley Christmas Fair</a>.

On from 24-27 November at Henley&#8217;s Stonor Park, this is my kind of one-stop Christmas-shop experience. How about being the one who gives really imaginative and thoughtful gifts, but while having sipped mulled wine and enjoyed yourself in the process? Dreamy. So, here&#8217;s my inside scoop on what to expect from the event this year&#8230;

Muddy fave <a href="https://bucksoxon.muddystilettos.co.uk/little-black-book/directory/alice-acreman-silks/">Alice Acreman Silks</a> will be among the 150 stalls with her uber luxe hand-made, hand-designed textiles. I love gifting her headscarves and eye masks and new this year are vegan suede cushions in statement animal and nature inspired prints, for a truly memorable pressie.&nbsp;&nbsp;

The new winter collection (think delicate cinnamon scents for wintery nights) would be welcome under my tree (hint, hint). Meanwhile, Muddy Award winner <a href="https://abingdondistillery.com/muddystilettoawards/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Abingdon Distillery</a> is also in on the festive spirit (rejoice! Gin-fiends.) Other stalls include indie homewares, artisan jewellery, handmade belts, striking garden furniture, ceramics, art, decorations&#8230; literally every age/hobby/interest catered to.&nbsp;&nbsp;

And to keep you going on your shopping jaunt? Crepes, mulled wine, and hot chocolates are among the options, as well as Oatopia’s artisan flapjacks, if they&#8217;re your thing, with plenty of vegan options and Scandilicious with milkshakes, fries and bagels for the young (at heart). For something more substantial, London’s Hush Hush Chefs are joining the fair and with pastries, sausages rolls, salads and oh-so-pretty quiches. All these and more eateries occupy a row of little wooden chalets lit by fairy lights that give the event a proper European Christmas market feel, but sensibly the stalls occupy a huge marquee on the lawn in front of the manor house, so come rain or shine, you&#8217;ll get that shopping list done in comfort (and style, darling!)
