What&#8217;s the celebration? Well, it&#8217;s World Gin Day of course &#8211; 8 June for diary purposes &#8211; though we reckon this tipple from the Ashmolean museum, made in collaboration with Fielden/The Oxford Artisan Distillery, should taste pretty peachy most of the year. Flavour notes, should you care about such things, are all about the kaffir, fragrant lime, rose, jasmine, and spices, finishing with a hint of orris and lemongras and the gin is distilled using ancient heritage and organic grains by Oxfordshire farmers who&#8217;ve pledged to supports biodiversity, wildflowers, and habitats for insects and birds.



The gorgeous bottle artwork, Spray of Morning Glory, is by Takeuchi Seiho, a piece that hangs in the Ashmolean, to represent the Silk Road flavour influences. Tempted?
