Brand new to Thame’s High Street this super-cool café brings a little slice of London to Bucks & Oxon. A flat white and boozy brunch for us, please!

Thame has just got a whole lot cooler with the arrival of Black Goo Coffee on the High Street; the company first set up in Tring and Berkhamsted but this is its first Bucks & Oxon outpost. Inspired by cafés and bars in the Big Smoke along with those visited by owners Sacha and Chris on their travels around Antwerp, Amsterdam, Melbourne and Stockholm, the interiors are Instagram catnip with eclectic furnishings, industrial elements and greenery galore with a chilled playlist on repeat in the background.

The café serves breakfast, brunch and lunch (GF, vegans and kids are well catered for too), plus an excellent selection of beautiful pastries and homemade cakes, not forgetting coffee by hip Origin Coffee Roasters. There’s also a wicked Dirty Afternoon Tea complete with G&Ts and fizz (is there any other way?) and a Boozy Brunch offering.

Keep your eyes peeled for the Tap Room opening in the evenings very soon. We. Can’t. Wait.
