Dirty Bones, Oxford
Relaxed New York-inspired restaurant and bar with stylish Sixties’ interiors and slick service – ideal for families in the day but with a more grown-up vibe at night.
I’ve eaten here at least three times already – the Muddy children are obsessed with the southern fried chicken! Part of the impressive culinary line up on the rooftop of Oxford’s Westgate Centre, Dirty Bones offers a Brooklyn-inspired menu in very cool retro surroundings – think Sixties/Seventies interiors, clever lighting and a heated terrace to keep the atmosphere going into the night.
It’s totally family friendly in the day and also works well as a quick pitstop before a movie at the Curzon across the way, but it’s also ideal for casual groups of adults with the soundtrack of Old School Hip Hop, Funk and Soul to keep the good vibes rolling. A big Muddy thumbs up.
New for 2020 you can now also ‘Get Dirty at Home‘ (naughty) with DIY burger and cocktail kits.
