Duke of Cambridge, Oxford

Muddy says: Stylish cocktail bar in the groovy district of Jericho, Oxford. Set over two floors, expect a mix of students and well-heeled locals.

The Duke of Cambridge has been strutting its stuff in the trendy district of Jericho, Oxford, since 1981, and it has a long history of Muddy, er, ‘involvement’. Hero used to frequent regularly as a student, and in 2017 it was the launch spot for a Muddy Christmas booze-up that we can still only half-remember.

Tastefully decorated with snaking banquette seating, and attracting a mix of students and locals, there’s a cocktail list as long as your arm and a generous happy hour for you to make maximum use of it, from 4pm – 9pm Sundays to Thursdays. On Fridays and Saturdays choose your Happy Hour poison between 4pm – 7.30pm.

If you’re hosting an event, the bar is available to hire or Dukes can come to you with one of its three mobile cocktail bars.
