In need of a serious pamper session? Always. Lucky for you, there’s a new industrial chic sanctuary awaiting in pretty Long Crendon, just shy of Brill. Glow Beauty originally opened its doors in August 2022 after owner Amelia decided to set up shop using her expert Champneys training (she got a 100% scholarship, FYI), and Muddy’s been a  fan of this local beauty gem ever since. Amelia and her expert team made a move to a spacious new outpost near Long Crendon earlier this year and it’s true rural bliss: we spotted cute baby lambs frolicking on our last visit.

The new space also makes way for fresh additions: think enormous side-by-side pedicure chairs so you can enjoy treatments and some chill out time with your favourite person. There’s two sleek manicure stations as well as two plush treatment rooms: whether you come solo or as a pair, there’s plenty of scope for relaxation and catch-ups.

The salon’s ethos is all about focusing on the whole body, inside and out, which means your emotional and mental wellbeing is just as important as the shade and lasting power of your mani-pedi. Amelia has particular prowess in BIAB and waxing (her attention to detail is second to none), and treatments range from the indulgent to the specialist. A Head in the Clouds massage will have you floating out into the Buckinghamshire fields, and keep your eyes peeled for new Korean Lash Lift treatments. All services can be specifically tweaked to suit your needs and late opening hours make it oh-so-easy to get your beauty fix. The salon is open until 9pm on Mon and Tues, until 8pm on Weds and until 6pm on Fri. The dream.

Special event? Glow Beauty offers the full works: brow shaping, tinting and lamination, lash services, luxury and medical manis and pedis, body waxing and spray tanning, and even ear piercing.
