Haddenham Garden Centre

Muddy says: Garden centres are the new superstores, and Haddenham Garden Centre has it all going on – plants, butchery, deli, café, shops – you name it!

You’ll be leaving Haddenham Garden Centre with more than just plants, that’s for sure. Started by Chris Hawkins and his father as a plant nursery back in 1978 (it’s still run by the same family now) the garden centre has evolved this year to become a one stop shop destination.

As well as a huge plant department selling a wide range of greenery from shrubs and flowers to trees and houseplants, Haddenham Garden Centre now has – deep breath – a farm shop stocked with local produce, Beef Olive Butchery selling local seasonal meats, a deli with homemade goods (try the handmade scotch eggs!), restaurant, gifts, bakery, groceries like jams and pickles, alcohol and frozen produce including Cook ready meals which my family basically survives on.

A few shops to mooch around too including The Works, The Edinburgh Woollen Mill and new Joules clothing department.
