Hotel du Vin Henley-On-Thames

An elegant pet-friendly boutique hotel set in a former 18th century brewery in the centre of buzzy Henley-on-Thames.

Heading to Henley for the Royal Regatta, Henley Festival, or just a luxe riverside staycation within easy reach of sublime shopping and pretty country walks? Hotel du Vin Henley-On-Thames, just a 30-second walk from the riverbank, is the perfect place to rest your head.

Formally an 18th century brewery, the 43-room hotel offers a little bit of glam across its rooms and suites as well as a champagne bar, large bistro, and a shady courtyard with original ‘brewery’ signage and brickwork. Inside, the vibe is grown-up but not stuffy with an inviting atmosphere – think big leather chesterfields, wood panelling, low beams and higgledy-piggledy walls.

Families are welcome – but the hotel is best suited for grown-ups and couples (be sure to nab a room with a stand-alone bath for a romantic retreat). Book a table in the elegant Bistro du Vin, found at the heart of the hotel. This inviting space entices locals and guests alike with its classic French-inspired menu, excellent wine list, and very reasonable pre fixe menu from £17.95 for two courses.

Dogs are welcome in the courtyard rooms (at an additional £20 per night) with a bowl and bed provided.
