Like most successful businesses Keg was borne out of need the owners initially tried to fulfil elswhere, and then realised they could do better themselves  – namely, create a craft beer, cider, wine and artisan gin bar. A superb idea!

They’ve set up in Bourne End for customers to sample, share and enjoy new brands and bevs, all in a very welcoming, unblokey, stylish location that turns snazzily neon on an evening, and has lots of outdoor seating for al fresco sipping through the summer.

Open 7 days a week with new extended closing times – 9pm Monday to Thurs, 10pm on Friday and, pushing the boat out, 11pm on Saturday. On Sunday you’ll be able to sleep your hangover off in time for work – it closes at a very considerate 6pm.
