I’ve been a massive fan of The Old Flight House for years. This super-stylish, quirky, treasure-trove of an interiors, vintage and antiques centre won Best Emporium at the Muddy Stilettos Awards in both 2015 and 2016.

There are over 70 different units to explore in a relaxing, light, spacious space – great for parents with young kids btw as there’s none of that bashing into other people – and you should expect the unexpected, with vintage fashion next door to mid-century furniture next to French provincial furniture.

You can spend a morning here easily, not least because there’s an attractive, large cafe that curls around the side and back of the building and out into a small patio at the back.

The Old Flight House is a destination in its own right – a massive Muddy recommendation to go and have a meander – and you’re only 5 miles from Bicester Village if you want to combine two shopping birds with one perfectly aimed stone.
