Patch, High Wycombe
Is remote working getting a bit too remote? Welcome to Patch! Swap your kitchen table for a bright, buzzy co-working space, great free coffee and some friendly faces.
Love that WFH flex but miss the collaborative, community (and social) aspects of an office? Us too, and Patch has come to our rescue when only an in-person meeting (and a good ol’ chinwag) with colleagues will do.
Patch has considered everything when it comes to co-working, from the breezy commute (a 5-minute walk from High Wycombe station) to cracking coffee, a breakfast club and a space for every possible working scenario.
The first thing to say is it’s a properly stylish space – based in what used to be the community library, it has loads of room, comfy office chairs throughout, lots of natural light, big tables with easily accessible plugs, and an open-plan vibe that nevertheless has subtle zoning for privacy. The decor is modern, clean and aesthetically pleasing – think pastels, plants, and lots of wood and glass.
There’s also everything you could need to make a working day fly by without a hitch: two communal kitchens, superfast wifi, private meeting rooms, and soundproof call booths. Tesco, M&S and Sainsbury’s are all a short walk away when hunger calls, or Django’s cafe in the foyer does cracking paninis if it’s an al-desko day.
We’re well into the age of ‘work near home’, and the lovely staff are keen to create a community vibe. There’s a free breakfast club every Monday morning, plus yoga classes and even live music every now and again. The space is versatile, and the Patch team is always up for discussing how it can suit your needs.
Book ahead, become a member, or drop in for a free day – after that, prices start from £24 for 8 hours (which can be used by the hour over a month) or £209 for unlimited access. And in case you need any more convincing, you might just run into the Muddy HQ team while you’re here. Come and say hello!
