Us too which is why Perch Co-Working space is our new go-to for those occasions when only an in-person meeting (and a good ol’ chinwag) with colleagues will do. In fact, we’re such big fans that we’re using it every week for the Muddy HQ team as our Oxfordshire co-working space.

Slap-bang in the middle of Bicester, Perch has considered everything when it comes to co-working. From a breezy commute (the office is easily accessible from both railway stations and Junction 9 of the M40) and plenty of parking options to cracking coffee and a space for every possible working scenario.

The first thing to say is it’s really properly stylish – loads of space, big windows with natural light, huge tables with easily accessible plugs, and an open plan vibe that nevertheless has subtle zoning for privacy.

A fusion of industrial style decor – think high ceilings, dark woods and metal fixtures – and retro chic furnishings give Perch an urbane, creative vibe. There’s a communal kitchen, air conditioning throughout as well as everything else you could possibly need to make your work day fly by without a hitch – super fast wifi, video conferencing, and Sainsbury’s is literally one minute walk away (along with all day parking there for a couple of quid).

The space holds 65 people with desks ranging from large, small, sound insulated and standing, as well as a one person, self contained office called the Nook for when you really need to knuckle down. There’s also ample space for meetings, with two conference rooms available – The Nest which seats up to six and is perfect for conducting interviews, appraisals etc, and a larger boardroom style space, The Eyrie, which seats up to 12.
