The Crown at Cuddington

Muddy says: A pretty 17th century locals’ thatched pub in the Midsomer Murder village of Cuddington, mid Bucks – so close to Muddy HQ it’s very nearly my local!

Under the lovely thatched roof of this late seventeenth century pub in the pretty mid-Bucks village of Cuddington you’ll find a cosy locals’ bar with tiled floor and settles, and several low-beamed dining areas.

I’ve eaten here ever since I moved to Buckinghamshire – it’s almost my local! – and I’d recommend it mainly as a really relaxed, friendly, cosy indoor option for families and friends, though there’s also a pretty patio area out the back for al fresco dining in the summer.
