As stylish as any human beauty spot, the vibe here is warm and welcoming. Think decorative garlands, cosy seats, and those quirky neon sign for the all-important Insta snaps.

First up, there’s the café, open to pup owners and humans alike, whether you’ve got a dog in tow or not. On the menu alongside the barista-made coffee from the Dark Horse Roastery, are pastries and cakes. Then, on the other side of the counter it’s over to hound chow, with dog friendly cupcakes and biscuits, vegan treats and goat milk puppacinos or meat smoothies to order, all served on the finest china off course.

As for pampering (the best bit), you can choose from an extensive list of beauty treatments that begin with a health check free of charge for total peace of mind. From a quick wash-and-go and specialist deep cleans for double-coated dogs, there’s the nose-to-tail the luxe package that adds nail clipping and paw pad trimming. You can also throw in deep-cleanse facials and Epsom salt baths – no you can’t book one for yourself. The prices here are super purse-friendly, ranging from £10 for a nail trim to starting from £55 for the full package.

Post-pampering it’s only right to squeeze in some retail therapy. Lucky you, there’s a boutique on site, selling beds, blankets, and comforters, plus, leads, collars, jumpers, fleeces, and human raincoats if you want to match your pup. If you’re after some company, The Dog’s Spot is a great space to socialise with other pet owners. Every Sunday afternoon (2-3 pm), there is an all-are-welcome puppy social, fuelled by a killer cup of Joe.
