This bunting-bedecked, family-run childrenswear shop is part of Ambers of Amersham, a boutique and beauty salon complex set within a 15th century converted mill in Old Amersham. There’s also a café selling homemade cakes on site, should you be in urgent need of a scone after extensively flexing your credit card.

The stock is as pretty as the setting, with upmarket brands including Emile et Rose for ridiculously gorgeous babygros, Weekend à la Mer and Hatley (love their printed raincoats).
