Muddy says: There’s upmarket childrenswear aplenty at this charming Old Amersham independent boutique.
This bunting-bedecked, family-run childrenswear shop is part of Ambers of Amersham, a boutique and beauty salon complex set within a 15th century converted mill in Old Amersham. There’s also a café selling homemade cakes on site, should you be in urgent need of a scone after extensively flexing your credit card.
The stock is as pretty as the setting, with upmarket brands including Emile et Rose for ridiculously gorgeous babygros, Weekend à la Mer and Hatley (love their printed raincoats). It’s the perfect place for a christening or birthday gift, and caters from newborns up to the age of 9. If you pop in now, there’s also a sale on.
It’s all beautifully merchandised so you’ll definitely want to linger to coo over bonnets and tiny socks. It’s almost enough to make me want to have another baby (*urgent smelling salts for Mr Muddy*).
