Henley’s latest gym and wellness centre is the passion project of Olympic and World Champion gold medal rower, Toby Garbett. Already well known in the area for his personal training business and his athlete mentor work with schools around sport and fitness, it was only natural that the next step was a fully fledged health and fitness set-up.

TG Gym & Wellness ticks all the boxes – a 2,500sq ft gym with the latest cardiovascular fitness kit – ski ergo, rowing machines (obvs), Wattbikes, rogue echo bike, Bodymax spin bikes, Technogym bike, life fitness cross trainer and treadmill, then a resistance training area with free weights as well as the right pieces of gym equipment to tone every part of your bod. The kit here is so pro that the renowned rowing club Leander now uses it for strength and condition training.

Alongside the gym, there are two studios for dance, Pilates, spin and yoga classes plus fitness such as HIIT, Box Fit, Pump & Tone, Circuits and more. Plus there’s five treatment rooms for wellness and beauty offering services from eyebrow tinting, tanning and massage to botox and IV drips.
