Founded in 2005 by Elizabeth and Nabil Assaf, the company was born from a hands-on project converting their 1970s British bungalow, in which Nabil built their first front door in the garden. Within days of fitting it, passersby were asking the obvious question, “Where did you get that then?” . The answer became a whole B-Corp Certified business, and has been transforming homes into quite show-stoppers ever since, featured in Grand Designs, Wallpaper*, and even the RIBA Journal. No wonder their was the front door du jour when it came to  The House that Muddy Built.

All doors feature double steel reinforcement, stylish aesthetics, and a clear commitment to security. Each order is made using premium hardwoods like oak, iroko, American black walnut, and reclaimed pine – so you’ll never be short of choice. As for sustainability? That’s at the core of the business’s values. Since 2021, Urban Front has worked with reforestation partners including eForests, planting a native tree in the UK for every door made across England, Scotland, and Wales. So you’re giving something back to the environment too, while you’re investing in a scene-stealing entrance.
