When Muddy award-winning jewellery designer, Wendy Penrose, started crafting jewellery from her garden studio, she sold her first pieces during the Henley Arts Trail over twenty years ago. This proved to be a sell-out and, lo, the Wendy Penrose Jewellery we know and love today was born. 

A former biologist, the colours, textures and beauty of the natural world heavily influence Wendy’s designs – think ragged cliffs, coral texture and flowing water. The result: unique, eye-catching, wearable pieces and a big fan base, both locally and beyond.

Ethically conscious, Wendy expertly handcrafts each piece using recycled precious metals and ethically-sourced gemstones. Bespoke pieces are a specialism, with attention to detail and customer service as polished as the final product. Wendy also remodels inherited jewels, transforming them into something special and wearable. So you know that ring your grandmother gave you that’s been sat at the bottom of your jewellery box? Dust it off and put it in Wendy’s capable hands. She can work her magic on it, transforming it into something that you’ll love wearing every day.

When it comes to weddings, one size rarely fits all. Wendy works with couples to create bespoke engagement rings, wedding bands and bridal jewellery to reflect the wearers’ personalities creating something distinctive and truly special whether this be by tailoring one of her own designs or creating something from scratch.
