<p>Still looking outrageously good for its age, <a href="https://www.bucksartweeks.org.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Bucks Art Weeks</a> <strong>(6 – 21 June)</strong> returns for its 41st year with an annual county-wide explosion of sculpture, ceramics, jewellery, painting, photography, textiles, glasswork and every other art form guaranteed to make you consider clearing a wall at home, stat. </p>



<p>As Buckinghamshire’s largest visual arts event, it transforms studios, sheds, barns, galleries and pop-up spaces into a giant creative treasure hunt, giving visitors the chance to meet hundreds of artists and makers, watch them at work and most likely leave clutching a gorgeous handmade vase that was definitely not on the day&#8217;s forecast.  We’ve picked out a handful of favourites to get you started, but the Bucks Art Weeks <a href="https://www.bucksartweeks.org.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">website</a> is the real rabbit hole. Knock yourself out.</p>

A graduate of the prestigious Slade School of Fine Art, his work spans painting, performance, film, installation and museum-scale projects, with exhibitions everywhere from Spain and Germany to the UAE. These days, he&#8217;s returned to painting, creating atmospheric oil and watercolour works that hover somewhere between landscape and abstraction, often inspired by the Chilterns scenery on his doorstep. If you&#8217;re lucky, you may even catch him between preparations for the 25th Sydney Biennial, where he&#8217;s currently exhibiting. Working with recycled silver, brass, copper and gold, her designs take inspiration from both geometric forms and the natural world, resulting in tactile, fluid pieces that feel as good as they look. Inspired by the precision and artistry of traditional paper cutting while living in Hong Kong, Hazel later honed her craft at a summer school in Edinburgh before launching her own Buckinghamshire studio back in 2013. The result is a brilliant blend of old-school craftsmanship and satisfyingly futuristic tech. Some are designed for the home, others for the garden, including vessels that hold water for birds and pollinators.
