FAST CARS (AND SOME SLOW ONES)

Silverstone Festival boasts an epic line-up of classic cars from across eight decades of motorsports battling it out on the world famous Silverstone racetrack. Races including the Masters Racing Legends and Masters GT Trophy are set to indulge fans with sexy cars like Ferraris, Maseratis and Porsches from past to present.

FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT

Mini Lando Norrises: assemble. Silverstone Festival is not just for the hardcore racing nerds. Nosiree. There’s loads of fun to be had for the whole family including a Young Drivers racetrack, funfair, circus activities, crazy golf, axe throwing, water zorbing, bungee trampolines and the legendary (and sometimes hilarious) Pit Stop Challenge, where – you guessed it – you get to change the wheels on an F1 car (there’s a great video of it here if you’re curious).

MOTORSPORTS LEGENDS

To mark 30 years since Brazilian World Champion Ayrton Senna’s tragic accident in 1994, Silverstone Festival is honouring his incredible legacy with a display of many of the cars that shaped his career together in one place over the Festival weekend. Plus, racing fans will be able to get close to F1 cars and chat to some of the drivers and teams as well as take on the epic BWT Alpine F1 Team Trak Racer simulators.

NON-STOP THRILLS

Adrenaline junkies be served some pretty insane stunt rides, BMX, skateboard and scooter demos to marvel at helplessly as well as daily drag race fire-ups, hot rods, drifting demos and revved-up rally cars.

CHART TOPPING MUSIC

This year’s totally fab headline acts include cheeky troublemaker Olly Murs, the gorgeous Busted boys and Barry Keoghan’s (and frankly everyone’s) favourite sparkly Disco Queen, Sophie Ellis Bextor, taking to the stage to keep the crowds singing and dancing the nights away.

FOODIE FUN

In the Foodie Fest zone you’ll find chef demos, an artisan market, Diddly Squat Farm Shop and Tasting Tent experiences. Foodies are well and truly catered for in the food and drink tent, with some of our beloved local producers lined up for the event, including Ganders Goat and the Muddy Award winning Your Cool Ice-Cream (send any tasters my way). Plus there’s a whole host of food vendors and drinks to keep you fully fuelled throughout the day.

SILVERSTONE MUSEUM

Entry to the brilliant Silverstone Museum is included with your Silverstone Festival ticket. Full of interactive experiences as well more on the history of motorsport and the science behind racing, this is defo worth a day trip in itself.
