The jack of all trades of camps, <a href="https://www.ultimateactivity.co.uk" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Ultimate Activity</a> is a great option for balls of energy aged 4-14. Offering everything from archery, swimming, arts and crafts, and even life skills like first aid in the Survival Lite package &#8211; it has various locations in our hood (Abingdon, Beaconsfield, Gerrards Cross, High Wycombe, Milton Keynes and Oxford). Prices start at £46 per day.&nbsp;



Sporty types aged 5-13 will love <a href="https://www.eliteyouthsports.co.uk" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Elite Camps</a> dotted around Oxfordshire (Abingdon, Didcot, Henley, Botley, Wallingford, and Thame). Kids can join in the huge range of activities including football, basketball, and dodgeball, as well as arts and crafts and team-building games. It’s £30 per day, with discounts available for siblings (best of luck convincing them to go together).&nbsp;



Offering a huge range of tailored programmes for ages 3 &#8211; 14, <a href="https://www.campbeaumont.co.uk" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Camp Beaumont </a>has multiple school locations across Bucks (Beaconsfield, Amersham, Gerrards Cross, and Aston Clinton) as well as ones across the border in&nbsp;Berks&nbsp;at&nbsp;<a href="https://www.campbeaumont.co.uk/our-camps/st-georges-school-windsor-castle" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">St George’s</a>&nbsp;in Windsor and&nbsp;<a href="https://www.campbeaumont.co.uk/our-camps/leighton-park-school" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Leighton Park School</a>. You&#8217;re in good hands here as the team is Ofsted registered and skilled with childcare &#8211; the clubs run from Mon 24 Jul with prices starting at £38 per day.



A hassle-free go-to for holiday help, <a href="https://www.longridge.org.uk" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Longridge </a>specialises in water sports for kids 8+. Sitting snug on the bank of the Thames in Marlow, its offers everything from rowing, kayaking and canoeing with a selection of dry land activities too such as bushcraft and laser mazes. 80 activities is enough for six weeks, no? <a href="https://www.supercamps.co.uk" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Super Camps</a> has a bucketload of fun up its sleeve. With locations around Bucks and Oxon for ages 4-12, kids will try out everything from archery to games and arts. If your kids know what they like, the camps even offer specialist courses that focus on a particular activity &#8211; for example bushcraft, cookery, or performing. Dates vary depending on the venue and prices vary but to give you an idea of the average, Abingdon Prep School costs £48 per day. 



More to tire them out? Er, go on then &#8211; <a href="https://www.oxfordactive.co.uk" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Oxford Active Camps</a>&nbsp;offer swimming, tennis, and archery – to name a few – along with arts and crafts plus a selection of team building activities for ages 3 – 14. If you’re in Bucks, the active camp is in&nbsp;<a href="https://www.oxfordactive.co.uk/locations/?_region=bucks" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Aylesbury</a>&nbsp;and there are&nbsp;<a href="https://www.oxfordactive.co.uk/locations/?_region=oxfordshire" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">10 more to choose from</a>&nbsp;across Oxon. Or they can serve it up at<a href="https://clubspark.lta.org.uk/OxfordSportsLawnTennisClub/Coaching/Camps" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> Oxford Sports Lawn Tennis Club</a> in Oxford’s North Hinksey Village which caters for 4-18 year olds &#8211; whether they&#8217;re beginners to performance players. With two Bucks locations, Amersham College Campus Site and Amersham &amp; Chalfont Hockey Club, kids can play unlimited football, plus try out other sports and dance. £40 per day.

Known for being a family day out hotspot, Hogshaw Farm &amp; Wildlife Park, near Claydon, is hosting <a href="https://hogshawfarm.co.uk/events/point-blank-adventures-holiday-camp/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Point Blank Adventures</a> from Mon 24 Jul for a selection of skill-building activities (hello,&nbsp;shelter building, lighting fires, archery and axe throwing). Along with making new friends from other schools, young adventurers will also meet and mingle with adorable farm animals. £50 per day with lunch and snacks included. 



Bang on the Bucks/Oxon/Northants border (Evenley Wood Garden) and Heath farm in Oxon, <a href="https://www.muddyfeettraining.co.uk/children-and-families/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Muddy Feet</a> offers immersive days that teach everything from shelter building, fire skills and cooking on the fire to woodland games, natural arts and crafts, bushcraft skills, making bows and arrows. Only for ages 5+, it&#8217;s a lovely blend of fun and learning as the Muddy feet team value nature connection and education.

The creation of serious biophile Jamie, <a href="https://mudandguts.co.uk/our-adventures/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Mud and Guts</a> is a dream come true for little rangers aged 6-9 and 10+ (each group having a slightly difference experience). Although located a hop over our borders in Salisbury, it&#8217;s a skill-building adventure kids won&#8217;t stop talking about &#8211; there&#8217;s shelter building, foraging, whittling, and games. Plus each group only has 14 children, so each gets plenty of attention. Prices from £45 per day.
