<p>Muddy Award winner <a href="https://bucksoxon.muddystilettos.co.uk/little-black-book/directory/peterley-manor-farm/">Peterley Manor Farm</a> is adding to its bucolic offering of farm shop, café, nursery, pick you own and events space with a wild spa! Opening this Weds and set to run in July, August and September, the <a href="https://www.resetwildspa.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Reset Wild Spa</a>&nbsp;offers Cold Water Therapy and a wood fired sauna. Occupying a gorgeous spot in one of the Peterley fields, the sessions are for up to eight people lasting two hours and cost from £15, or you can book the place exclusively if you want it to yourselves, plus add on a yoga class and a picnic from the fabulous Barn Café. Talk about self-care baby!</p>

<p>Recognise this dapper chappy? Then perhaps you can guess what&#8217;s coming next as the outfit kind of gives it away. Yup, Bradley Riches&nbsp;(Netflix’s&nbsp;<em>Heartstoppe</em>r, <em>Saltburn</em> and ITV’s&nbsp;<em>Celebrity Big Brother 2024</em>) is coming to our &#8216;hood to star as Peter Pan in Aylesbury&nbsp;Waterside Theatre&#8217;s big old festive panto this year.<strong>&nbsp;</strong><em>The Further Adventures of Peter Pan: The Return of Captain Hook</em><strong>&nbsp;</strong>is on 6 Dec – Sun 5 Jan 2025. The musical theatre trained actor will take to the boards alongside TV?radio presenter Andy Collins. Tickets are <a href="https://www.atgtickets.com/shows/the-further-adventures-of-peter-pan-the-return-of-captain-hook/aylesbury-waterside-theatre/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">on sale</a> already and keep an eye on Muddy for our first night review. </p>

<p>Bust your bustle on down to Blenheim Palace <em>Bridgerton </em>fans, because Oxon&#8217;s grand old dame has launched its own <a href="https://www.blenheimpalace.com/whats-on/events/bridgerton-trail/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Bridgerton Film Trail</a>, taking in the locations used in the filming of <em>Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story</em> and various seasons of the original <em>Bridgerton </em>series. Launching this month, it includes the Great Court, the Water Terraces (<em>that </em>final ball scene in&nbsp;<em>Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story</em>) and the State Rooms including the Saloon (<em>that </em>intense game of chess).&nbsp;</p>

<p>Not content with setting the farming world alight, Jeremy Clarkson&#8217;s turning his attention to hospitality and plans to open a pub. He&#8217;s bought The Windmill near Burford after failing to get planning permission to convert a barn into a restaurant on his Diddly Squat Farm. The plan is to sell his own Hawkstone beer and use produce from the farm in his pub kitchen. The vibe is pub grub &#8211; ergo shepherd&#8217;s pies and ham, egg and chips and pub games like billiards, dominoes and darts. He&#8217;s warned there&#8217;ll be no coffee or CocaCola &#8211; strictly British produce, and reckon it will open this winter. </p>

<p>Never out of the headlines for long, Clarkson&#8217;s Farm also attracted attention for its recent episode featuring Andy Cato of Groove Armada (left, above). The DJ turned farmer was discussing the regenerative farming business he started with radio and TV presenter George Lamb (right of pic). <a href="https://www.instagram.com/wildfarmed/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Wildfarmed</a>, has its HQ in Coleshill, near Faringdon and produces grain for regenerative flour, bread and pizza (note: Andy is putting down his pitch fork to play a set at Bucks festival Stowaway this summer &#8211; check out our guide <a href="https://bucksoxon.muddystilettos.co.uk/culture/festivals/festival-survival-guide-stowaway-buckinghamshire/">here</a>). Our patch is abuzz with celebs turned farmers &#8211; perhaps Taylor&#8217;s head will be turned while she&#8217;s <a href="https://bucksoxon.muddystilettos.co.uk/life/people/taylor-swifts-guide-cotswolds-things-to-do/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">hanging in the Cotswolds</a>?</p>

<p>Chipping Norton producer, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/cotswoldbaking/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Cotswold Baking</a>, has had a busy month &#8211; first the <a href="https://bucksoxon.muddystilettos.co.uk/awards/winners/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Muddy Awards</a> ceremony at the glorious Waddesdon Manor to collect its Local Producer award, and now a visit from Keir Starmer no less. With only days to go before the election, Keir chose Cotswold Baking to talk indie businesses (and no doubt sample some of Paul&#8217;s award-winning wares).</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-so-long">SO LONG&#8230;</h2>



<p>Speaking of carbs, cute Wallingford sandwich shop and delivery service, <a href="https://www.sophsloafs.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Soph&#8217;s Loaf</a>, has announced it will close on 30 Aug. But fear not &#8211; in her poignant goodbye she hinted at plans for another foodie related venture in the future. Watch this space sarnie lovers.</p>
