<p>Well, hello, park prosecco. Big news from the leafy heart of Marlow this week – the much-loved <a href="https://www.thelittlegreenboatcompany.co.uk/marlow/marlow-cafe-higginson-park" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Higginson Park café</a> has just landed an alcohol licence, meaning your riverside stroll just got a whole lot more civilised. Long the go-to for flat whites and flapjacks mid-dog walk or post-pirate-ship playground duty, this low-key café has quietly become something of a local institution. And now? It’s levelling up. Word is there’ll be Prosecco, wine, local beers and classic cocktails. Even better? There’s talk of pop-up evening events in the park –think acoustic music nights, sunset drinks and potential collabs with local foodie names. Watch this (green and pleasant) space.</p>

<p>West End darling, Carrie Hope Fletcher, (yes, she of<em> Les Mis, Heathers</em> and YouTube fame) is donning chaps and a Stetson this summer as she gallops into <a href="https://www.miltonkeynes-theatre.co.uk/shows/milton-keynes-theatre/calamity-jane" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">MK Theatre</a> in a brand-new production of <em>Calamity Jane</em>. Expect sass, saloon swing-doors, and a whole lotta show tunes when it hits town from 29 July 29 to 2 Aug. <p>Big news from the wizarding world: a Buckinghamshire-based steam train, previously saved from the scrapyard, is getting a magical glow-up – and heading to the brand-new Harry Potter TV series on HBO Max. The Thirties-era loco is set to fill in for the iconic Hogwarts Express in the upcoming reboot. Yep, forget your commute – this is the kind of rail replacement we can get behind. And bonus Muddy points: it&#8217;s housed at the <a href="https://www.chinnorrailway.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Chinnor and Princes Risborough Railway</a>, so if you fancy riding the rails before it hits the small screen, you know where to go.</p>
