<p>Did you know there&#8217;s more to Waddesdon than its handsome manor and glorious gardens? Now you do! The estate recently welcomed 37 new calves into its pedigree Beef Shorthorn herd and you can meet the bunch this weekend. alongside animal meet-and-greets, there&#8217;ll be a sheep-shearing demo, tour of the Estate on a tractor and trailer ride, and a chance to learn all about the BTS of running a farm. From 11 am &#8211; 3 pm, entry is free! </p>

<p>Part of the Chequers Estate and tucked in Butler’s Cross, near Wendover, Buckmoorend farm is a local haunt for quality meats and produce (the team takes a hands-on approach during every step, from farm to dinner table). This Sunday from 11 am – 4 pm, they’re offering a free behind-the-scenes tour of what a usual day at the farm looks like and chance to meet the animals (sheep, cows, pigs, you know how it rolls), plus plenty of activities for the whole family, Before heading home, check out the hot food served in the kitchen, or grab a bag or two from the farm shop to home cook later.</p>

<p>Stretchy trousers and wellies out for this one. Family-run farm Laceys boasts an award-winning dairy, thanks to their crack team of Guernsey cows, and you can put it to the test on Sunday (10 am &#8211; 4 pm) at the BBQ, coffee van, and milkshake bar  – or bag your own eggs, meats, and cheeses from the farm shop. Feasting aside, there are plenty of activities on offer including tractor-trailer rides, Q&amp;As with the farmers, and a chance to meet the animals – tickets are £5pp and Under 5s go free.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-road-farm-great-missenden"><a href="https://www.roadfarmcountryways.com/ofs24/">Road Farm</a>, Great Missenden</h2>



<p>Great for balls of energy, this care farm, nestled between Great Missenden and Wendover, has a tractor-load of activities lined up. Think wood-turning and beehive observations to guided walks, and educational talks. Plus, a menagerie of sheep, goats, hens, and donkeys to meet. Entry is free, but there are fundraising activities available if you want to support the farm. 12.30 pm &#8211; 4.30 pm.</p>

<p>Like your veggies organic? Kill two birds with one stone at this well-respected mixed farm in Tiddington. Open from 10 am -3 pm, the team has been dedicated to organic produce for over 30 years, and this Sunday offers family fun including tractor and trailer rides, sheep shearing, and an activities stall for kids (they must be supervised the whole time). To fuel up, the pop-up kitchen &amp; bar will be serving hot dogs, sweet treats, and hot drinks from local indies. Entry is free and there’s no need to book. No dogs allowed on this one, though.</p>

<p>With a whopping 60 acres on hand, Common Leys Farm in Witney has it all! On the animal front, there are pony rides, sheep-shearing demos, and a chance to feed the animals. The farm shop will also be open for fresh meats, veg, plants, and crafts. Plus, kids can get their face painted (huzzah!). Entry is £3pp and under 5s go free with a paying adult, 11 am – 3 pm.&nbsp;</p>
