NOMINATIONS STAGE  18 APRIL – 8 MAY 2023

We’re thrilled to be back for another year, but this time, there’s even more cause to celebrate because – *release the confetti cannon* – MUDDY STILETTOS TURNS 10! 

For a whole decade we’ve helped to promote plucky local businesses and high streets by championing originality, creativity and quality on our website and in our Awards. The Muddy Stilettos Awards are the most coveted awards for small independent lifestyle business across the country, now across a whopping 28 counties and, as always, are totally FREE to enter from start to finish. If that’s not a reason to pop the Champers and go bigger and better than ever this year – we don’t know what is! 

This is your chance to say a massive THANK YOU to your favourite local businesses and we’re raring to showcase everyone that you nominate, in partnership with our brilliant Bucks & Oxon sponsor, Lightfoots Solicitors. 

For 2023, we have 27 lifestyle categories including two new categories – Best Beauty Salon/Clinic and Best Wedding Photographer. And by popular demand, we’re bringing back Best New Lifestyle Start up for any new business that have launched in the past 12 months. 

It takes just seconds to show your support. Here’s how it works: 

ROUND 1: NOMINATE YOUR FAVOURITE LOCAL BUSINESSES (18 APRIL – 8 MAY 2023) 

Nominate the businesses that you love locally across 27 lifestyle categories. You can put forward one business in your county, per category per email address – and yes, you can nominate your own business and start promoting right away (head to the ASSETS tab for downloadable social media assets and more). 

ROUND 2: REGIONAL FINALS  (17 MAY – 4 JUNE 2023)

The top 5 businesses in each category with the most nominations will go through to the Finals stage. Public voting lasts until 5pm, 4 June 2023 with Regional Winners being announced on 13 June 2023

ROUND 3: NATIONAL FINALS (6 JULY- 25 JULY 2023)

Regional Winners from every category will automatically go through to the prestigious National Finals and the Muddy Stilettos Editors will judge who is the Best of the Best in each category, announcing the National Winners on 26 July 2023.
