Over the last year one skiwear store in Marlow has gone out of business and the owner of a Henley store has closed. No such traumas for <a href="http://www.turners75.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Turners | Sun | Rain | Snow</a> though, even though it&#8217;s tucked away on a side street at the bridge end of Marlow, because let me tell you, the skiwear here is just So. Goddam. Cool.

They stock bright colours, trend-driven styles, and high-performance brands that you can often only buy in Europe. Basically they kit you out like you mean business on the slopes (and in the bar afterwards) and allow you to give all those super-stylish continental poseurs a run for their money!

So there are hard-to-find brands like Canada Goose (Turners is the biggest stockist in the region) where they also sell the groovy bomber jacket version as well as the more traditional three quarter lengther.
They stock the the &#8216;Eskimo&#8217; version of the white Napapijri jackets (my fave, below) and groovy &#8216;biker jacket&#8217; outers&#8230;

&#8230; and for women, we&#8217;ve really lucked out on the extras this year with glitter, texture, pretty touches to tops, bobble hats and apres wear. My snowboard gear from the Nineties (I know, the shame!) now looks hopelessly boyish. Times have definitely moved on &#8211; I&#8217;m due an extensive update.

Finally, all the socks, helmets, boots and gloves you need to sort your entire outfit before you get to the slopes &#8211; because how irritating is it to have to shop when you only have a week to ski?

Brands here also include Colmar, Didriksons, Goldbergh, Hestra, Icebreaker, Ilse Jacobsen, so you&#8217;re getting an idea of the quality, right? It&#8217;s well worth making a trip to the shop &#8211; hang out in Marlow for the day, it&#8217;s no hardship! &#8211; but if not, they do sell online too.
