<p class="p1">You&#8217;ve got to admire a brand that can make luggage cool. Suitcases aren&#8217;t generally considered sexy &#8211; I mean, I&#8217;ll spend a lot of time choosing the perfect handbag (a Sezane cross-body right now, since you ask), but I&#8217;ll bung my holiday wardrobe into any battered old receptacle without a second thought.</p>

<p class="p1">Well, I did &#8211; until I started lusting over <a href="https://www.awaytravel.com/uk/en/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Away</a> luggage. The cult online brand launched in 2015 and now has <a href="https://www.instagram.com/away/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">nearly half a million followers on Instagram</a> (493,000 people eagerly tracking the adventures of a suitcase &#8211; who&#8217;d have thought it?) and its sleek cases will be proudly paraded through airport terminals by endless celebrities and influencers this summer.</p>

Well, it seems the brand actually listened when it did its market research and created a product that solves common travelling bugbears. The carry-on has has a built-in battery to charge your phone. It comes in a vast array of colourways so you&#8217;re not faced with 200 black suitcases that all look the same on the carousel. It has wheels that rotate 360 degrees plus a side handle so you can pick it up and easily carry it up or down stairs. There&#8217;s a built-in combination lock. You can get it personalised &#8211; they&#8217;ll hand-paint your initials on the case and luggage tag.</p>
