Five years since its debut in 2021, Anya Hindmarch’s iconic Universal Tote has not only prevented 36 double decker buses’ worth of plastic going to landfill, but it’s lived many lives. Collaborations with Wholefoods, Waitrose, Sainsbury’s, Aldi and, most recently, Boots, have seen the roomy recycled and recyclable tote reimagined in countless colour ways, and the latest iteration is a bang-on-trend chocolate brown hue. Or rather, the perfect shade of organic soil, because this is Daylesford x Anya Hindmarch after all.

The new Original and Mini Daylesford x Anya Hindmarch Universal Bags went on sale at 8am last Thurs (23rd) and unsurprisingly they sold like very wholesome hot cakes. With sturdy, chic cream and Cotswold green striped handles, a waterproof outer and a 12kg capacity – allowing for a generous Dayesford farm shop spree – it’s no surprise that the £15 Original and £12 Mini are already out of stock and popping up on Vinted at some pretty punchy price points.
