The White Horse, Kings Sutton
Muddy says: A pretty stone pub with great gastro credentials, overlooking the village green in the attractive village of Kings Suttton on the Oxon/Northants borders.

I’m a big fan of The White Horse in Kings Sutton in North Oxfordshire – not least because it has its own mainline Chiltern train line in the village for a sneaky boozy pub lunch!
The pretty stone pub overlooks the village green, with a small beer garden to the front, while inside there’s an attractive bar area (check out the special gin bar!), and then towards the rear a more restauranty bit, and the food is really fantastic – think modern British with plenty of pub classics with a gastro twist.
No pub garden to speak of but it’s very family friendly – read my review here.
Up this way you’re close to the lovely village of Deddington, and you’re also within driving distance of Chipping Norton and Bicester Village but you can also take a walk around Kings Sutton itself, and its lovely 12th century church.
