Meet The Muddy Awards 2021 winners
Your votes have been counted and - drumroll please - the results are in. Here are your Muddy Awards 2021 winners. Go say hi, they're local you know!

Oooh, well that was FUN!
The Muddy Stilettos Awards 2021 romped to a close last week, the culmination of six weeks of cheer-leading, sharing the love and voting for the most brilliant local businesses across 25 Muddy counties, in partnership with our fab local sponsor Lightfoots Solicitors.
After our 2020’s Awards had been curtailed by something called – um, Carvid? Covim? – I think we all yearned this year to really celebrate the creativity, uniqueness and sheer stick-it-out bravery of our best local businesses. Cue an astonishing 75,000 businesses nominated and 750,000 votes cast in 2021. I know, bonkers!
I’ve always proudly run the Muddy Awards on the basis of being free for all businesses to take part in from beginning to end – I never want small or new businesses to be excluded on the basis of cost. And eight years on from the first Awards, it’s still as exciting as ever for me to shine a light on brilliant businesses that often go undiscovered and unrecognised.
But these are Awards voted for by Muddy readers, not editors, so it’s a heartfelt and whopping great THANK YOU from me to all of you who took part or voted in 2021.
And with no further ado, allow me to introduce your winners for 2021 across Bucks & Oxon. All incredible and worthy of a visit – so print off this list (or save to your favourites on Muddy if you’re signed in) and work your way through them until we go again in June 2022!

I’m sat in Unit Hair right now, Matt is awesome at hair cutting. I’ve done a fair bit of research in London and Bucks and I’d say he’s the best cutter of short hair too, if that’s your thing. Cara is a fabulous colourist. Look out for Sam too 🙂
Big Sky Great Missenden is the best gift shop and has been consistent over the years – their customer service is second to none!
