<p>There&#8217;s been <a href="https://www.belmond.com/hotels/europe/uk/oxfordshire/belmond-le-manoir-aux-quat-saisons/festive" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">carolling at Le Manoir</a> long enough to be an Christmas fixture, and every year the tickets fly off the shelves. It&#8217;s mega posh &#8211; black tie, fine dining, a twinkling walkway from the restaurant to the 12th century church where the choir leads the carolling. This is how to get yourself in the festive mood luxury-style. The only date left is <strong>4 Dec</strong> and we have insider intel that there&#8217;s about 25 tickets left at the time of writing, so get a move on! Every festive season we hope Raymond will come out as Father Christmas &#8211; maybe this year will be the year.</p>

<p>Waddesdon Manor is lighting up for Christmas once again, offering more festive cheer than you can shake a tinsel-covered stick at. This year it follows the story of <a href="https://waddesdon.org.uk/whats-on/christmas/">Sleeping Beauty</a> &#8211; the evil fairy, the dozing damsel and the dashing prince to the rescue. Wander through the indoor installations and get lost between the trees outside, illuminated in a kaleidoscope of colour. And if that wasn&#8217;t enough, Waddesdon’s Christmas Fair is also back along with a bespoke Food Village offering visitors takeaway food and drinks served from cute little chalets, from&nbsp;artisan kebabs to glazed doughnuts, so you can munch whilst exploring the grounds.</p>

<p>The much anticipated <a href="https://www.blenheimpalace.com/whats-on/events/christmas/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Great Skate</a> is brand new this Christmas and it&#8217;s bound to book up fast. On <strong>Fri 15 Nov</strong> they&#8217;ll turn the ducal palace&#8217;s iconic Great Court to ice for your festive skating pleasure until New Year&#8217;s Day 2025, part of their Winter Neverland® theme which also includes the famous Christmas market, the return of the light trail, and Tinkerbell&#8217;s tour of the State rooms. There&#8217;s rink-side seating for those who struggle to remain vertical whilst on skates (guilty), so you can soak in the holiday spirit with a mulled wine or hot chocolate and spare yourself the sore bum. </p>

<p>Holy crap, panto season is here again, and we suspect that <a href="https://www.atgtickets.com/shows/the-further-adventures-of-peter-pan-the-return-of-captain-hook/aylesbury-waterside-theatre/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Further Adventures of Peter Pan</a> at AWT is going to be an instant winner. Running <strong>Fri 6 Dec</strong> &#8211; <strong>Sun 5 Jan</strong>, this year&#8217;s Christmas panto features rising star of the silver screen Bradley Riches (<em>Heartstopper</em>) as Pan, and he&#8217;s likely to draw the crowds so don&#8217;t leave it for too long before you book. And if you&#8217;re not Peter Panned out by that point, see Craig Revel Horwood as Captain Hook in the MK Theatre&#8217;s rendition of the very same classic over the very same dates. </p>

<p>All aboard for that most magical of festive undertakings &#8211; the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.chinnorrailway.co.uk/product.php/414/santa-steam-specials-departing-princes-risborough-hp27-9dn/d1c868a96dc2e9a5e234129a9a1bd2f0" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Santa Steam Special</a> &#8211; the ultimate combo of steam trains and Father Christmas. The trains are running from <strong>Princes Risborough</strong> on selected dates from <strong>23 Nov</strong> right up to Christmas. The Elves have all sorts of festive fun planned to keep the little ones entertained on the way to the North Pole Station, where they&#8217;ll meet Santa and get their gifts. It doesn&#8217;t get much more magical than a Christmas trip to the North Pole, and a £27 return ain&#8217;t bad!</p>
