Looks like Christmas has come early on Muddy this year – 10 tickets to the Country Homes & Interiors Christmas fair at Stonor Park near Henley, on Fri 25- Sat 27 Nov 2016, have floated down the chimney if any of you feel like claiming them!

It’s the first time this event has taken place and knowing the tasteful offering of Country Homes and Interiors mag it promises to be superslick and classy stuff.

There are over 100 stands of festive gifties, plus home, decorating and lifestyle products all in the lovely grounds of Stonor Park, below.

Also demonstrations including the art of proper gift-wrapping by Jane Means, wrapper supreme to HRH, Harrods and Selfridges, so I’m presuming my elbow-on-the-fold and sellotape-rabidly-ripped-from-mouth approach isn’t going to cut it this year.

Stonor House is decorated to the max for Christmas and, to you my friend, it’s free free free to enjoy it! Just show your Muddy ticket and you’ll be let straight in.

What else to tell you? There’s all the usual food and drink options but actually they’ve done this well too, with the grub provide by Bucks-based caterers Goose & Berry, and even better using Box 77, in my Little Black Book as a brilliant mobile cocktail maker, shaker, move and groover to sort the bar.
