Green is for Gorgeous

We've gone gaga for green jewellery here at Muddy. But you don't have to shell out on megabucks emeralds to nail the trend.

We’re feeling green here at Muddy. Nope, we’re not envious of Meghan Markle’s impending nuptials (much) and no we haven’t taken to the vino in desperation at the weather (much).  Rather, we’re feeling it in the fashion sense. It’s the colour of Spring, of new shoots, leaves and buds – and also the shade of some of our favourite new season jewellery.

On a local tip, this solid sterling silver bangle with green cubic zirconia (£120) from Henley-based Nicky Blystad caught the eye. And quite fancy the drop earrings in green agate (£105) too – fancy-pants earrings are huge, in both senses, for SS18, and a instant way to spruce up workaday outfit. Speaking of which, green looks gorgeous with denim, navy, grey and white, which, if you’re anything like me, will be the colour palette of 90 percent of your wardrobe.

Going ga-ga for green like us? There’s more…

& Other Stories cuff (£13)

No other high street fashion retailer nails jewellery like & Other Stories. This cool bracelet is an absolute steal and is available online or at the Westgate Centre Oxford. (btw just bought a fab pair of leopard print trews from & Other Stories too but that’s another story – boom boom!)

i+i earrings (£79)

This cool, affordable emerging brand is our new favourite for playful earrings. These green onyx leaves, dangling from gold hoops, are hand-carved.

Biagio ring (£160)

This award-winning Thame & Bicester based jeweller stocks this unusual peridot ring by Muddy favourite Fei Liu (see our interview with him here – he’s as fun as he is talented).

Jigsaw earrings (£30)

Retire your tassels, this season’s statement earrings come in resin. These have a groovy ’80s art teacher vibe (yes, that’s a good thing).

Zoe & Morgan necklace (£138)

Get this rock’n’roll indie jeweller on your radar pronto. This striking gold necklace with a green sapphire shall be ours.
